What is the PFTC?

The Private Fund Technology Cooperative is an industry-wide undertaking to support a more modern and centralized transaction & reporting environment for private fund investors (Hedge, PE, VC investors).

The existing private fund investment ecosystem is dated and paper-intense, lacking sufficient technology, fluidity and liquidity. Documentation is excessive and highly duplicative, where investors provide the same information multiple times to fund managers, administrators, and other related parties. The investor capital transaction & reporting process is completely decentralized and inefficient, requiring investors to transmit and receive information through a multitude of administrative access points.
